Welcome to the Boyd Bookkeeping Newsletter!
As the year begins to wind down, November is a good time to look at what your numbers have been showing you — not only where the business has grown, but where it has remained steady, become clearer, or needs attention before year-end.
This month, we are looking at the lessons inside the numbers, why stability can be a form of success, and how financial clarity can help you prepare for year-end with less rushing and more understanding.
For Arizona businesses, that clarity can also include Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT), commonly referred to as sales tax. From a bookkeeping perspective, the important part is making sure TPT-related activity is recorded consistently and that the information in your books agrees with any outside system or app you use to track it.
One important note: our newsletter stays within our bookkeeping expertise. We may share general information related to tax or payroll when it helps explain a bookkeeping topic, but we do not provide tax or payroll advice. Those questions should always be addressed by the appropriate tax or payroll professional.
Enjoy the November issue!
